Pacifica Synod Assembly
May 19 - May 21
2022 is a Bishop Election year, so please plan to attend!
Information will be posted here as it becomes available, so check back often!
Assembly business will begin at 1:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, May 19 and end by noon on Saturday, May 21. On-site registration will open the morning of Thursday, May 19, so plan to arrive early that day to make sure you are in the room for the first session (and first vote!)
This Synod Assembly will be held in-person. While the main sessions will be live-streamed for viewing, voting members will only be able to participate in-person. The COVID-19 protocols in place (listed below) are to help make the environment as safe as possible. Barring any dramatic shifts in the presence of Covid-19, this assembly will remain in-person.
Important Synod Assembly Registration Information
In late January, all congregations were sent information about congregational voting member registration. This information included the number of voting members assigned to your congregation, as well as an invoice to take advantage of the early congregational registration fee of $525 (for up to 3 voting members). If the congregational fee was not paid by February 28, it must be paid when you register your voting members online.
Online registration of voting members and visitors to the Assembly is now open!
Both group and individual registration options are available. All attendees must register online. Remember, prepayment of your congregational assembly registration fee invoice did NOT register your voting members! Online registration will close on May 2.
In order to prepare for registration so that you have the necessary information on hand when you are ready to do so, we have prepared registration instructions and a worksheet for your use. You may download these forms HERE. The forms have also been mailed to all congregations.
For Assembly registration questions, please contact Terri Robertson at 714.692.2791, ext. 732 or by email at email@example.com.
**Please note – ALL 2022 Synod Assembly attendees must provide proof of full COVID vaccination or negative test, as per Synod Council vote. See below for more details.
